This paper usually contains important issues that are currently being discussed. Of course, this article contains the author's opinion which can be said to be a one-sided opinion. Not only opinions, in this type of text almost all of the author's arguments against a problem. Narrative text is a type of text in English to tell a story that has a series of connected chronological events. • What is Purpose of the Narrative Text ? The purpose of this text is to entertain the reader about a story or stories. • What is General Structure of the Narrative Text ? • Orientation : It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced. • Complication : Where the problems in the story developed.  • Resolution : Where the problems in the story is solved. • Coda / reorientation (optional) – lesson from the story. • Language Feature of Narrative Text – Past tense (killed, drunk, etc) – Adverb of time (Once upun a time, one day, etc) – Time conjunction (when, then, suddenly, etc) – Specific character. Generally, biographies tell more about the feelings a person faces in dealing with an event or a person's life.
