Hello everyone, today i want to explain about descriptive Text

• What is Descriptive Text?

Basically, descriptive text is a text that aims to explain, describe, or describe something. This thing can take the form of anything, be it animals, objects, locations, and so on. Usually descriptive text is characterized by the use of easy tense and focuses on one specific object. The object is then discussed again in more detail in the descriptive text.

• What is Purpose of Descriptive Text?

 The purpose of the descriptive text is clear, that is to describe, represent or reveal a person or an object, either abstract or concrete. 

• Language Features of Descriptive Text

• Verbs used are attribute verbs, such as be (am, is, are)

 • The tense used is simple present tense

 • Only focus on that one object.

• General Structure of Descriptive Text

•Identification is an introduction, in the form of a general description of a topic.

• Description contains special characteristics possessed by the object, place, or person being described. For example, characteristics, physical appearance, and other things that are written specifically.

History of the Tower of Pisa (Leaning Tower of Pisa Italy)


In Italy there are many amazing ancient buildings, one of which is this pisa menar. This tower is so famous because the building is tilted up to 5 meters. Here is a brief history of how the tower of pisa was built.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa (Italian: Torre pendente di Pisa or abbreviated as Torre di Pisa) is a campanile or bell tower of the cathedral in the city of Pisa, Italy.

The Pisa Tower was actually made to stand vertically like a bell tower in general, but began to tilt shortly after construction began in August 1173. It is located behind the cathedral and is the third building of the Campo dei Miracoli (rainbow field) of Pisa.
