• What is Caption Text?

A caption is a short text above or below an image in a book, magazine, or newspaper that describes the image or explains what the person in it did or said.

• What is function of Caption Text?

Captions have a social function, namely to provide basic information about an object.

• What is Characteristic of Caption Text?

-Short text 

-Free to use any tenses 

-Does not explain the image that is clearly visible 

-Unnamed unless required 

-Can contain motivation, gossip, advice and others
